How do you keep city permit requirements up to date?

When a city updates its STR rules, we review the change, update our database, and push an alert to all affected hosts within 48 hours. We also cross-reference with Airbnb and VRBO platform compliance notices.
What's included in the Managed filing service?
On the Managed plan, our team handles the actual submission of your permit renewals and registrations. We contact you to gather the required documents (typically your ID, property details, and payment info), submit to the appropriate city and county agencies, track the status, and send you the confirmation once your permit is issued. You don't have to visit a government portal or fill out any forms.
I host in multiple cities — how does pricing work?
Pricing is per property, per year. If you host three properties in two different cities, that's three subscriptions. Each property gets its own compliance dashboard with the full permit requirements for its specific city. On the Managed plan, there's no limit on properties — we handle all of them.
What happens if a city issues me a fine or violation notice?
ClearedHost is designed to prevent violations before they happen. If you do receive a notice, reach out to us immediately — we'll help you understand what triggered it, what the response timeline is, and what filing you need to make to resolve it. Do I need to connect my Airbnb or VRBO account?
